And We're Off!

Tomorrow is the day. We're flying out on Condor at 6pm and will be in Frankfurt nine hours later. We will then spend the night in Frankfurt and fly out the next day to spend most of our time in the UK visiting family and general sight-seeing. We are 99.9% packed with the remaining .1% being last minute things we will take care of tomorrow. Tanya has done an amazing job planning for the trip and I think it's a talent she could market somehow.

We are leaving behind my laptop this time and all I will have is my Blackberry. Twitter is easy enough to update but I doubt I'll be making any blog posts. I've discovered tumblr so I'll try and upload a few shots with my Blackberry as I can.

Departure day is always fun.

Mother's Day Preparations

My daughter took over the kitchen this fine, sunny afternoon and began to make a Mother's Day supper for my wife. She made roast duck with apple/cornbread stuffing, seasoned potatoes and spinach/strawberry salad. Oh wow did it smell good and it tasted equally as great.
